I have been out a bit in the evenings after work just looking around this week. Mosquitoes are bad now, so lots of repellent is required. Yesterday I went out to Mitchell's Bay in hopes of seeing a pelican or something of interest. I guess I was a day early (!), or least none were visible. One pelican was off the end of Angler Line today.
The Yellow-headed Blackbirds seem to have disappeared so I did not see one.
Several Green Herons were flying around before sunset.
odd clouds over Lake St. Clair
Some insects:
Red-spotted Purple
Four-spotted Skimmer
Silver-spotted Skipper
Looks like good weather this weekend and to use my new camera!
