Another Snowy Owl

Received a photo today of a Snowy Owl along Heron Line near St. Clair NWA.  There still are a number of Snowy Owls around.  It will be interesting to see what one stays the longest!

Quite a few years ago one was found near the end of June at Erieau.  Ever see an (northern) owl pant?!

Finally saw FOY Purple Martins this morning at Port Lambton.  Lots nest along the river as many people put out birdhouses.

Things look pretty good for this weekend with strong southerly winds.  (Assuming the forecast is correct!).  I will be out and about as usual....looking and looking.....
