Natural Awning!
During the outing to Walpole Island, we looked at some huge Jack-In-The-Pulpit plants. They were almost a metre high! I have never seen the plants so large, but apparently under the right conditions, they can get that high. I did not have the right lens on the camera, so the photos do not show it properly.
This dragonfly was at St. Clair NWA a while back. I think it is an immature male Dot-tailed Whiteface.
Must have took a while to cut the tree with this saw........!
