Sun-Up=Sun Pillar

Another interesting sunrise this morning.  Similar to the one February 12 last winter.  I was not able to get into a good position this morning to photograph it as it was too late before I realized what was going on.
Atmospheric conditions create this effect.  Flat ice crystals in the air reflect the rising sunlight on cold mornings.

Great pictures, as usual, even without birds in them!
