More Yard Butterflies

The butterflies keep pouring in.  This afternoon I stopped at Stewart Wetland just after lunch.  A Common Checkered-Skipper caught my eye.  These small quick-flying insects are difficult to track, but this one set down on a bindweed flower.  Another first for the location.

This afternoon I caught sight of another, but here at home in the yard!  It hesitated for less than a second and zooom, it was gone.  Just on Sunday I saw one here as well.  First for Wallaceburg.

Also had perhaps two Fiery Skippers in the yard this afternoon.

Sunday there was one in the yard as well just before the checkered skipper.  First for here.
