Canada Day

I drove around a bit today. Weather was poor (again!), but I saw a few things of interest. I came across a Grasshopper Sparrow rather unexpectantly. They are getting difficult to find around here anymore.
An Egret was at ICI Ponds. One was at Stewart Wetland yesterday, but not today. Maybe the same one?

Very few butterflies today due to the weather, but I did see an Appalachian Brown. I also saw my first Edwards' Hairstreak of the season.

At Blenheim Lagoons, the same bird were present that were there on Saturday, minus the Least Sandpiper.
