synchronized Mute Swans
Nothing exciting today. The sun was out today so it was a good time to be out. Ducks were being pushed around on the St. Clair River due to more ice floating downriver. There was not as much to see as yesterday, but sunny days are usually like that. I prefer overcast skies for looking at things on the water.
Gulls were still hanging out off ICI. At one point I counted six Glaucous Gulls. At least we have some gulls to look at this winter since the last two winters were lacking in the gull department.
I only went as far as Courtright today.

Inland, I stopped at Moore WMA and went for a walk. There were birds this week! Lots of Chickadees, White-breasted Nuthatches and Tufted Titmice. Still no Yellow-rumped Warblers, so I think they did not stay this winter. I noticed Poison Ivy berries are lacking there, while last year there was an abundance. The Yellow-rumpeds are scarce everywhere this winter.

Blake, I'll have to learn/study what glaucous gulls look like. I have not really added that species to my short list of gulls. I agree that if nothing else, the sun was great this afternoon.
