Past Post: Mid-November Birding

Lack of subject matter has bestowed me once again.  Last weekend was not too eventful, especially due to the weather.  I did some lakewatches (Saturday at Point Pelee and Sunday at Rondeau).  Red-breasted Mergansers are numerous this time of year.  We have to watch for others mixed in!

We get too many winds with a southerly component anymore this time of year, so things have changed from the past.

Past post:

This time in November is always an interesting time for birding.  There are some late warblers to look for or waterfowl or waterbirds, etc.  Looking back in my notes, every year is quite different.
