I had to head into town before lunch and I caught sight of some Sandhill Cranes setting down into the marsh along Walpole Island. A total of nine!
Early this morning there was a good movement of Bonaparte's Gulls at Port Lambton. However, they were heading north!
Yesterday I saw one Common Loon...heading north.
The apparent Glaucous-winged Gull is still at Port Huron. There are photos on the Michigan eBird, so you can judge for yourself.
A Great-Horned Owl was in the woodlot at Brander Park late today. It flushed as I walked through looking at a couple of Yellow-rumped Warblers.
Looks like some interesting windy weather the next few days. Certainly has been a windy month! Could be some good birds around if you are one of those who tend to be in the right place at the right time most of the time!
