Feeling a bit bored tonight, I was looking at the stats and previous posts for this blog. I guess some people are reading this old blog! I do not get many "comments", but it is interesting to see where there is interest.
Blogger provides a place where you can review the stats on your blog. You can look at pageviews for the day, week, etc, and all-time. Also where the most interest is.
For some reason, the all-time high blogpost is the one I did on Browning Island and Lake Muskoka August 14, 2010. I had a nice trip up there and wrote about it. There have been 636 pageviews!
Second is the one entitled Cave Swallow Invasion of October 30, 2010 at 451 pageviews.
Recently, Day of the Owls of December 24 is popular at 136 pageviews.
All-time pageviews is at 35,142. Yesterday there were 89.
It is also possible to see where some of the viewers get the link. It helps when fellow bloggers provide a link, and that shows through referring sites.
I do this blog for a couple of reasons: mainly for fun, but also to get information out. I enjoy reading other blogs from those who have similar interests as well.
Keep posting, Blake. A very enjoyable blog and nice to hear about the sightings from your neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteBlake, stats on blogger only started the summer before last, so the 35k really represents the total from the summer before last. It's cool to see which pages are the most popular... My western kingbird posting had 1200, and the GGOW posting is pretty close or maybe even a little more than the western kingbird.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog Blake. Keep up the great work!
Always a good read, Blake. Don't stop.
