Ice Capades

Griffon

Another cold day along the river.  Ice continues to build up.

A tug and barge below Port Lambton has almost been left to fend for itself as it has been stuck for some time.  I took this photo first thing this morning and it was still there late today.

The Barrow's Goldeneye was seen today, but it was tight against the Michigan shoreline and one had to wait for difficult views between ice floes. A good scope was necessary!

Lots of Canvasback are finally in the river, there were not many before last week.

Ice dropped yesterday....
