C.B.C. Season Coming

Been a quiet week in these parts, but with the days too short for 'Monday-Friday working people', there is no time to get out!
In a week's time some of us will be starting Christmas Bird Counts (CBC's).  Although Ontario birders have no problem turning up good birds, the three week season from December 14 to January 4 will no doubt turn up some notables as we beat the bushes.

(did not have the good camera then!)

Some bird counts I will taking part in are Kettle Point (December 14), Rondeau (December 15), Wallaceburg December 28 and St. Clair NWA Area is usually January 1.

Snowy Owls have been in the news lately, but I have not heard of any around Wallaceburg.  I keep an eye out going to and from work, but with little light each way, it is sometimes difficult to see.

Hopefully some gulls will build in numbers on the St. Clair River.  We need ice though!

And ducks....
