Quiet Sunday

Not much to report today.  There was dense fog this morning, and it was cloudy most of the day with some rain in the afternoon.  We just cannot get two decent weekends in a row this year, and the year is half over!

I went north of Wallaceburg today looking around.  I found another Royal River Cruiser dragonfly.  I suppose it could be the same one as last week though, as it was in the same general area.
I watched hairstreaks on the Indian Hemp and milkweeds.  They kept coming and going.  Only one Coral today, several Banded and a few Edwards'.
Wood Nymphs are everywhere!

Some scenes:

a very tiny moth!

  1. Blake,

I noticed hundreds of Wood Nymph butterflies at my parents house in south Windsor. They have a few acres of field and has many butterflies and dragonflies.
