Not much to report today....I went for a walk at Rondeau Park. Lots of Spicebush Swallowtails were out. I came across a co-operative Eyed Brown. Note the jagged post median band which distinguishes it from the Appalachian Brown. It tends to be in more open areas than its look-alike.
I'm not into moths, but did find this Polyphemus Moth that was having some difficulty.
In the birding department, I did come across a group of birds mainly consisting of Yellow Warblers. Also with them was a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, obviously a migrant. A southbound Yellow Warbler was in my yard yesterday.
